SOAMC= ENDGAME: Music Format headers

In the following list we will try to get an overview of typical identifiers we can use to detect type of music formats.

NOTE: As per. 23 September 2018 the information below will not be updated OR used in the SOAMC= ENDGAME project anymore. We have changed our logic of identify potentional music formats completely ourselves as ALL data extracted will be decrunched and processed by the ripper engines and music rippers we have already chosen. We will rely 100% on their job:-)


The human readable or bytes as HEX presented below will be hunted for through the entire file (sliding window search for bytes as-is shown below), if it was compressed it dont matter as other tools would have first decrunched them.

When we have detected a potentional hit of the bytes below, it will be tagged and will be included in the actual ripping of music from a datafile, as-is or from an excutable file. We intend to use various known methods of automatic ripping, but also by the use of ProWizard, ExoticRipper and Eagleplayer's own EagleRippers engines will be used along with our own tools.

We might also try to hunt down specific ripper tools for a specific music format, if we are not happy with the search/detect by Prowizard, ExoticRipper and EagleRipper engines. More information to follow if it appears.
